Mrs. Rajaa Chatila

Vice president of Social Workers Syndicate in Lebanon since 2016. She obtained a Master in Education – St. Joseph University 2013, Executive MBA- Psychosocial in the war-torn societies Master in Medical-Social work- Lebanese University. She established the Department of Social Work in Dr. Mohammed Khaled organization, was the head of the department for a number of years. She has been a Professor at the Lebanese University- Department of Social work since1993 till dated, where she is teaching the Social Work Intervention courses for the four years (Individual, Family, Groups and Communities intervention). In addition, she is the student’s field supervisor since 1996 and following up the Students projects. She handled the department of medical social work for many years. She was assigned to take part of the committee studying and adjusting the social medical work department curriculums. She was assigned to take part of the committee studying and adjusting the Masters, PHD and LMD department curriculums and their objectives. She organizes trainings on different topics to Civil Society and she did private consultancy for their NGOs. She took part of different committees at the Ministry of Social Affairs.
